..Consider this thought....
.....uhmmm...just a thought...why do people love? (and what is love anyway? ) Is it because we love ourselves? consider
the cliche; 'I' need you, 'I' love you, 'I' want you etc..etc... why is it always the 'I' which comes first? Why can't people
let go?- Is it because they cannot afford to feel the pain of heartbreak?... Why can't people express what they feel to someone?-
Is it because they are afraid to experience the angst of rejection?...Who can honestly raise their hand and tell everybody
that she can love a fishball vendor? I guess nobody...Women today cannot love someone like that because 'they' think they
will suffer in the long run...It will not satisfy their 'I'.....Why do people sourgrape?- Its the simple reason of uplifting
OURselves, to boost OUR ego, so that WE can feel good.... It's funny to think that the word 'I' is said a million times in
our lives...Hmmmnnn.......Ring any bell...Yes! Oh my God!!! ( if there is a god) 'WE' are naturally selfish!
I know we are sick of fairytales( because it's not true)...but...consider this thought :
"We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly.
'
- Sam Keen, from To Love and Be Loved
